The forthcoming general elections in Andhra Pradesh which are slated to commence in 2024 will decide the future of three parties Telugu Desam Party, Bharatiya Janata Party, and Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena. The three parties want one common aim which is to dethrone the ruling YSRCP. However, these parties have their own setbacks.
To counter the setbacks, the three parties are looking at the option of having an alliance with other parties. But which parties will come together is the main question here. Making the issue even more interesting Pawan Kalyan placed three options making doors open for TDP as well.
As experts feel that the anti-incumbency factor would work in favour of them, the Janasena leaders and cadre are hoping that the saffron party would announce Pawan Kalyan as the Chief Minister candidate as the Andhra Pradesh wing of BJP has no candidate who is suitable for the same.
Pawan Kalyan even hinted Janasena cadre to work to bring his party to power if the alliance options won’t work. But the BJP has other options as the leaders said they cannot take a call on this as there is much time for the polls.
The other day, the Union Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Development of the North Eastern Region of India Kishan Reddy gave a big shock to Pawan Kalyan and his fans by saying that what’s the hurry in deciding on the Chief Minister candidate as the polls are two years away now.
BJP national general secretary Y Satya Kumar also said the same and hinted that Pawan Kalyan could not be the Chief Minister. Talking about the alliance topic going on in the state, the BJP leader said that the party doesn’t make a person who is not a BJP member as the Chief Minister.
The comments of BJP leaders gave clarity that the BJP is in no mood to make Pawan Kalyan as the Chief Minister candidate. Surprisingly, for Bihar, BJP made Nitish Kumar, a Janata Dal (United)member as the Chief Minister. When BJP wants to not make Pawan Kalyan the Chief Minister candidate then what’s the point in forming an alliance with the party and walking together, Janasena supporters ask.
