The opposition parties are busy selecting candidates, it is said that a veteran leader will be selected by the opposition.
Now it is said that Vice President Venkaiah Naidu might run the presidential polls and the BJP is likely to make an announcement on the same. Reports say the same as the stalwarts of BJP Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and J P Nadda reportedly met him for a key meeting.
It is known that BJP is facing severe criticism from various parties and the parties are waiting for a good opportunity to fight the saffron party and the presidential polls seems like a good opportunity.
All the like-minded parties that are against BJP came under one roof and are giving their best in deciding the candidate for the presidential polls. To counter the opposition parties’ efforts, BJP needs a special factor and that could be Mr. Naidu.
If Venkaiah Naidu is announced the candidate, then the chances of KCR who is waging a war against the BJP making his MPs vote for the opposition parties’ candidate are less. KCR might not spoil the plan to make a Telugu person the President.
Talking about the other parties, Venkaih Naidu has been in politics for quite some time, and few leaders like him and might vote for him. If the BJP MPs, TRS, YSRCP, and a few MPs from other parties vote for Naidu, then BJP will surely win the prez polls. The BJP is reportedly considering the factors and we have to wait and see what BJP will do now.
