Megastar Chiranjeevi was last seen in mass entertainer Godfather which was a decent hit. The ace hero is now all set to arrive at the theatres for the Sankranthi season with his upcoming film Waltair Veerayya. After a long time, Chiranjeevi will be seen in a mass look in Lungi.

K. S. Ravindra aka Bobby who is a fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi is helming the film and he assured that fans will get Poonakalu in theatres. He shared an interesting story behind picking Waltair Veerayya as the title of the Megastar starrer.
Bobby said that he personally likes the Veerayya title and when he was busy with the Venky Mama film, actor Nassar give him a book and there is a character that goes by the same name. Adding further, he said that he liked the character and the person who did the first photo shoot of Chiranjeevi was Constable Veerayya and that’s why he decided to name the character that.
No one knows the story behind fixing Waltair Veerayya as the title of the upcoming film and he shared the interesting story behind this. It appears that a few elements played a role in this.
Waltair Veerayya is slated for a grand release on the 13th of this month as a Sankranthi bonanza. Shruti Haasan is playing the leading lady in the upcoming film and Mythri Movie Makers banner bankrolled the film.
