Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan is the latest celebrity to test positive for the novel coronavirus. The actor’s spokesperson issued a statement confirming the news about Khan diagnosed with Covid-19.
The statement read, “Mr Aamir Khan has tested positive for COVID-19. He is at home in self-quarantine, following all the protocols, and he’s doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern.”
Aamir Khan is currently working on his upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The actor has been travelling to many places as the film is being shot in India covering around 100 different locations.
Laal Singh Chaddha is an official Hindi adaptation of Hollywood’s blockbuster hit ‘Forrest Gump’ starring Tom Hanks. The film is helmed by director Advait Chandan.
Notably, Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali had also tested positive for the virus earlier this month.
