Bollywood young star and Aamir Khan’s nephew Imran Khan is known to have quit acting. The news
was revealed by his best friend and actor Akshay Oberoi. Nonetheless, Imran did not give any official
declaration in this regard.
While speaking to a media personnel, Akshay stated, “My best friend in Bollywood is Imran Khan,
who is no longer an actor because he has quit acting. Imran is my closest friend, whom I can get up
at 4 am and call. Me and Imran have been with each other for almost 18 years, we studied acting
together at Kishore Acting School in Andheri West.”
He also added that he believes Imran khan has a better director in him than an actor. He also hinted
that the actor might direct his own film if things pan out well. Akshay further said, Imran Khan would
surely make a great film owing to his sensibility and good understanding of cinema.
Earlier in 2018, Imran apart from acting, also made his directorial debut with a short film titled
Mission Mars: Keep Walking India. His last movie was `Katti Batti’ opposite Kangana Ranaut in 2015.
