The alleged poker racket being run with Tollywood actor Naga Shaurya’s farmhouse in the city outskirts that was busted recently as a joint operation is a center of attraction. With each day passing, the investigation officers are unearthing new developments in the case and these developments are taking everyone by surprise.
Famous News outlet TV9, which had carried out the search operation as a joint operation with the special cops had reported that Naga Shaurya’s father Shivalinga Prasad was arrested by the cops in connection with the case and produced before the court on Wednesday.
TV 9 said, the cops reportedly gathered information that says Shivalonga Prasad takes care of the gambling activities along with Gutta Suman, the main accused in the case. Going by the same information, he was produced before the Upparpally court. The new development gave another turn to the sensational news.
A lawyer representing Shivalinga Prasad in the case has approached the lower court with a bail petition on his behalf. The court is yet to take a call on this.
This is a fresh development in the case; earlier, the main accused in the case, Gutta Suman, was arrested by the cops and grilled for two days. It is said that the cops gathered crucial information in the case. As part of the investigation, the cops reportedly traced the history of Gutta Suman who was into casino activities.
After Gutta Suman was arrested after the poker racket was busted in a farmhouse in Hyderabad outskirts, reports emerged that Suman has been into such activities and earlier too and cases were filed against him in various places in Telugu states.
It has been widely reported that Gutta Suman has good contacts in high-five circles in various fields and the big shots often come to the farmhouse and play poker. The farmhouse is said to be a small size casino and Suman arranges a variety of games and fun activities at the farmhouse.
Swiping machines, vehicles, and cash were seized by the cops after the accused were arrested in the case. In total 30 people including a former legislator and other big shots were nabbed by the cops after busting the racket.
