Whatever may happen in the future, it is Nara Lokesh who will handle the party after the TDP Chief Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, being the successor. CBN has tried many ways to make his son politically strong but Lokesh’s efforts are very minimal in this process. To be straight, he hasn’t proved himself as an efficient leader so far.
Now, Lokesh is the General Secretary of the party and in the near future he will become the working president of the party. Naidu wants to force his son into the party even though Lokesh hasn’t been visible in the active politics for some period.
On the other side, the party senior leaders are very disappointed with Lokesh’s capabilities. They firmly believe that Lokesh is not the right person to lead the party especially at this point of time. They are hoping for a better person than Lokesh to look after the party and the one name they all have in mind is – Jr.NTR.
After all, it is the party established by his own grandfather and the charisma of Tarak is certainly unmatchable to any other leader in the party. Of course, Tarak made it clear that he always stands first to serve the party even though he was previously insulted by some big wigs as it is the memory of his great grandfather N.T. Rama Rao whom he was named after.
So TDP leaders want to appeal CBN indirectly not to put the party’s future at stake for his son and they all want to see Jr.NTR as their new leader to put the party back on track.
