It is no secret that producer C Kalyan lost every paisa that he had invested in director V V Vinayak’s unintelligent movie called “Inttelligent”.It was such a bad movie and such a flop that no one from the movie’s team dared to come forward to promote it after the release. Now dust has settled and the movie has almost been removed from all the theatres. Latest buzz in the industry is that C Kalyan has sold off a piece of land he owns in prime area in Manikonda for Rs 20 Cr. He lost nearly 17 Cr on Sai Dharam Tej starrer “Inttelligent”.
Kalyan thought that Vinayak would return some money but the director is not showing any such interest.So, C Kalyan may have to endure all the expenses.Kalyan didn’t lose anything on Balakrishna’s “Jai Simha” but he lost all the investment on this Sai Dharam Tej – Vinayak movie.
He didn’t sell it to distributors, he released the movie on his own in almost all areas. Hence the loss is huge. He will be clearing off the finance from the money he gets from this land deal.
