Budding filmmaker Mahi V Raghav, who helmed Yatra, the biopic of late chief minister of united Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhar Reddy is now planning to make a biopic on YS Jagan.
Another interesting update is that the makers of the proposed Jagan biopic want to rope in Pratik Gandhi who recently caught the attention of the nation with his performance in limited series, Scam 1992 for the project.
The makers opine that Pratik’s physical appearance resembles that of Jagan’s and his acting prowess will help him get into the skin of the character. They have approached him already and are awaiting his response.
Jagan’s biopic will be a multi-lingual and it will be getting a pan-India release, say reports.
Mahi V Raghav plans to take this interesting project onto the floors ahead of 2024 Andhra Pradesh general elections.
