The actress who has aged gracefully and who is now seen in one-odd films, has found a new passion in painting.
Well, it is not exactly new-found. Sridevi has been practising for the past five years for nearly 5-10 hours a week.
Her forte is portraits and recently, she gifted a painting to her niece Sonam Kapoor. The painting now holds a pride of place in the Kapoor living room.
One of her paintings is a gift to Salman Khan, who is a good friend and who had acted in quite a few Boney productions.
Incidentally, she also gifted a painting each to her designer Manish Malhotra and her sister Srilatha.
A passion that began at an early age, Sridevi keeps it very private. Though friends and family had suggested her to hold exhibitions, Sri prefers to gift her portraits.
She is quite a pro at silhouette-style paintings and paints a lot of women. Of course, a special mention has to be made of her Micheal Jackson painting here.
In 2010, one of her works was included in an auction by an international firm, proceeds of which went to charity.
