Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has always had a special interest in the Hindi language and culture. He included the hit song ‘Ye Mera Jaha’ in ‘Khushi’ whose lyrics were in Hindi.
‘I am An Indian’ song from ‘Badri’ is also in Hindi and we all know about ‘Hat Hat Ja’ song from ‘Baalu’. All the songs showcase his love for Hindi. Some of his movies like ‘Khushi’, ‘Panja’, ‘Teenmaar’ were filmed in the North.
He is heavily inspired by classic Hindi cinema from the 60s-80s. He has been eyeing to capture the Hindi market for a long time. Pawan released ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ in Hindi too and even gave interviews to popular film critics like Anupama Chopra which is quite rare.
Despite all his efforts, his movie ended up as a disaster. After remaking the Hindi film ‘Pink’ as ‘Vakeel Saab’ last year, he is all set to arrive with ‘Bheemla Nayak’.
The latest reports reveal that the Hindi distribution rights of ‘Bheemla Nayak’ were bought by B4U Motion Pictures.
This action drama will be dubbed in Hindi too and Pawan fans are excited about it. As we know, Telugu films are getting good collections in the Hindi market lately.
‘Pushpa’ stands as the biggest example. ‘Bheemla Nayak’ has the added advantage of having ‘Baahubali’ star Rana Daggubati playing the second lead.
But ‘Bheemla Nayak’ is a remake of ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ which was a super hit in Malayalam. The film was talked about all over the country and a lot of people watched it on Amazon Prime Video. We need to see how the North audience embraces ‘Bheemla Nayak’ despite being familiar with the original.
