Can Devineni Avinash bring back his dad’s legacy ??

Devineni Nehru is an epitome of Bezawada politics and now his son Devineni Avinash took the center stage replace his father with the most exciting future ahead for him.

One may think that he got a comfortable political platform and opportunity very easily as he is the son of the Nehru but he has been into struggle right from the beginning of his political career.

Especially, when the question arises, whether he can bring back the father’s legacy, we have to take a peek at several things regarding this young and energetic leader. In fact, Avinash came into politics at a very young age.

So far he switched to three parties. He first contested for Vijayawada MP seat in 2014 from Congress ticket and lost. Despite the opposition in that election that the Congress had divided the state, Avinash got 55,000 votes.

Later he joined the TDP and honestly, Babu hasn’t made the most from him. Avinash was fielded from Gudivada in the 2019 elections thinking that he would be a strong candidate as there was no one to contest against Kodali Nani. He wasn’t given the ticket for Vijayawada East in which his family has a very good reputation politically. He accepted the challenge without any hesitation but the groups that were formed within the TDP really betrayed him at the last moment that led to his defeat.

Now, Avinash joined YSRCP a few months back and he was given the responsibility as the YSRCP’s East Vizag Incharge. His entire political career is non-controversial and he has been effective in every phase. Of course, Jagan realized his importance and stamina very early.

Justifying Jagan’s decision, he is going berserk over the senior TDP leaders in Vijayawada, Gadde Ram Mohan, and has been very sound in COVID prevention activities and got close with people during this lockdown period.

It seems like the YSRCP needs to rely too much on this leader who belongs to the Kamma community in Vijayawada. If he was used to his full potential, he can do wonders for the ruling party.

Now, the YSRCP is looking to pacify the agitated Amaravati farmers using Devineni Avinash and it is nothing but a litmus test to a young leader of his capability. If Avinash survives and impresses the high command, he will automatically prove himself as the perfect heir to continue his father’s legacy in AP politics.
