Can Lokesh dare to contest as Sarpanch

The ruling YSRCP and opposition TDP are on a verbal war over the State Election Commission pushing the local elections by six weeks. YSRCP government chief whip criticized Chandrababu Naidu and threw a challenge to field his son Nara Lokesh for Sarpanch position.

“In the name of Corona virus, how can Election Commissioner postpone elections and recommend to transfer collectors of Guntur and Chittoor districts?” questioned Dadisetti Raja. He further said, “Chandrababu is an expert in managing the systems, troubling the governments and backstabbing the people. Delay of local polls leads to delay of poor people getting benefits of the government. If Chandrababu is sincere, he should make his son Lokesh contest from any place of the state for the Sarpanch position.”

Adding, “The result of Lokesh in local polls will be an eye opener for Chandrababu.” More Raja said, “By postponing the elections, AP which should get Rs 5000 crore from Centre may get diverted. Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar lost his consciences before taking a decision of pushing the elections.”
