We have seen many Tollywood heroes trying their luck in Bollywood over the years. Seniors like Venkatesh, Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna did straight Bollywood movies. Though they had one or two hits, they couldn’t sustain their hit form for many years in Bollywood and confined themselves to regional cinema. Also, they did not try too hard and shifted back to the South in order to preserve their market.
But the opening of pan-Indian market changed the perception of everyone. Even regional cinema is getting nationwide recognition and even crossing boundaries. Mainly, a lot of Telugu heroes have gotten pan-Indian following lately. Despite competing with ‘Dunki’, Prabhas managed to get over 100 crores with ‘Salaar’ in the Hindi market which showed his craze.
As we know, Charan and NTR got nationwide fame after ‘RRR’ and they are planning to take it to the next level. While they are making pan-Indian movies like ‘Game Changer’ and ‘Devara’ respectively, NTR decided to take the Bollywood route as well. He okayed to become a part of ‘War 2’ and he recently landed in Mumbai to shoot for his portion.
The star hero is going to share screen with Hrithik Roshan in this movie and we all know that Hrithik is termed as ‘Greek God’ by everyone. His screen presence is unmatched. NTR is a great actor without a doubt but being in the same frame as Hrithik is something different.
While other Telugu heroes arrived with solo hero flicks in Bollywood, NTR is going to arrive alongside Hrithik Roshan. This is going to be an even bigger task. While Tarak is a better performer, Hrithik is more good-looking. It is going to be a challenge for the ‘RRR’ hero but we need to see if he proves to everyone that he is better than the rest or not.
