Can Vijay Devarakonda Pull Of This Mega Target?

Young sensation Vijay Devarakonda is all set to come up with “Dear Comrade” which is enjoying a lot of hype for the now. As the film’s pre-ticket sales are terrific, one could expect a grand opening for the young hero, maybe the best of his career. But he has a mega target to achieve, in order to push the distributors into profits and also to stabilise his market.

Looking at the pre-release business of Dear Comrade, we have to say that Vijay’s business range has surpassed many of his seniors. While the two states’ theatrical rights are sold for 22+ crores, the film made decent sales in Overseas and other Indian territories taking the total pre-release business to 33+ crores. And now the film has to collect 34+ crores share to paddle all the distributors to safe shores.

Previous films of Vijay happen to have left the trade observers with mixed minds, as his Geetha Govindam made 70+ crores share but the film that followed it, Taxiwala made only 21+ crores. However, both the films made huge profits for the distributors as Geetha Govindam was sold for 17 crores, while Taxiwaal was sold for 16 crores only.

Can Devarakonda give similar 300% profits to his distributors with Dear Comrade too? If he does that, then he joins the elite club of some most dependable heroes.
