Favoritism for a single or same caste is the unparalleled weapon to any politician used to criticize his opponent in the Indian political system at any given time. AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is not an exemption to this forever-advantage and we have witnessed these kinds of statements from Jagan in the past.
While the election commission, most importantly, the independent body has decided to postpone the local body elections in Andhra Pradesh, AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy fumed on the AP election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh. He alleged that the government and health ministry weren’t informed about the postponement.
Thereafter Jagan took out his most lethal weapon and alleged that Chandrababu and EC Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh belong to the same community and hence the Commissioner postponed the elections to favor CBN who is on the edge of a humiliating defeat.
First of all, Jagan’s friend KCR realized the danger of this virus and ordered shut down of all educational institutions in the entire state but Jagan didn’t consider the fact that elections can cause a disaster during this Corona Outbreak as he was obsessed with his unanimous result.
Luckily AP people got saved with EC’s sensible decision but Jagan wants to politicise this basic thing using his favourite game plan… Caste. Let’s see if Supreme Court considers his petition or not.
