YS Jagan who has been jailed while he was in opposition in disproportionate assets case has been fighting since he released on the bail.
He has been toying with the judiciary system for a while but the CBI court is making sure to keep track on his cases regularly.
It is known that is being heard in the CBI and the ED court. The CBI contended that the charges under the ACB Act apply to Vijayasaireddy in the investment charge sheet in Jagati Publications.
Vijayasaireddy’s counsel had earlier argued that the ACB Act was not applicable as he was not a public representative at the time the charge sheet was filed. The court noted that he only performed his duties as a chartered accountant.
However, CBI Special Public Prosecutor (PP) Tiwari contended that the charges under sections 9 and 13 of the ACB Act apply to Vijayasaireddy.
The CBI was asked to give a ten-day deadline to hear the full arguments as Tiwari had recently taken over as Special PP.
The CBI and the ED court have adjourned the hearing till January 4 on the charge sheets of Jagati Publications, Vanpyk, Ramky, Penna Cements and Bharti Cements.
