CBI issued a clean chit to Lalu in the DLF bribery case!

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) seems to have given a clean chit to former Bihar Chief Minister and former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav in the DLF bribery case. He had already spent three years in jail in the cattle feeding scandal case and was released from jail in April.

Lalu has been accused of taking bribes from the DLF group in connection with the modernization projects of the Bandra and New Delhi railway stations in Mumbai. The CBI Financial Crimes Branch started the investigation of the case in January 2018. Credible sources said that the CBI officials had ruled that the allegations against Lalu were not true during the two-year trial.
