Mahesh Babu’s “Maharshi” is drawing good collections all over with first week share is going to shatter NTR’s “Aravindha Sametha” record.
It is likely to cross Rs 20 Cr mark in Nizam by end of the first week. This is fantastic by any yardstick.
However, the run in ceded area is worrying the distributor.
The film was sold for Rs 12 Cr to ceded distributor and the movie has collect at least Rs 13 Cr share to see the profit on its investment. But it is struggling in Rayalaseema region as the film didn’t strike a chord with the audiences there.
The first week’s figure would be around Rs 5.80 Cr. It may add another two crores by end of its lifetime run.
Ceded region is the only area that is looking at huge losses for this film that has chances to become highest grosser in superstar Mahesh’s career.
