Even as Megastar Chiranjeevi doesn’t want to resume the shoot until the curve of corona cases flatten, director Siva Koratala is planning to resume the shoot at the earliest. By November, he needs to be back on the sets.
The period from November to April is crucial for Koratala as he needs to wrap the entire production and post-production work during this time. April 9, 2021, has been fixed as the release date.
“Acharya” has so far completed a mere 40 percent of the shoot. Heroine Kajal Aggarwal has not joined the team yet and four songs, some major action sequences remain to be shot. Ram Charan’s portion also needs to be picturized.
As Koratala Siva recently admitted the film requires huge manpower. Following COVID19 guidelines and safety parameters, he should finish the production in 6 months, which is a major challenge for Koratala Siva.
Moreover, Koratala mostly relies on the cinematographer for the filming process. So, he has a bigger task ahead.
“Acharya” is Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 152nd film. Produced by Niranjan Reddy, the social drama has Chiranjeevi playing a guy with leftist ideology as it was evident with the motion poster.
