A strategical leader like CBN has proved his mettle in mind games so many times in the past. At times, his tactics went awry and calculations produced false results. Even CBN agrees that he is solely responsible for the disastrous state of the Telugu Desam Party in the state as he backed up the leaders who haven’t been much dedicated and committed to the party.
If we dive back into the past, Naidu’s calculations of luring the Nallari family into the party have gone awfully wrong. Nallari’s is such a powerful political family in AP. Nallari Amarnath Reddy was a many time MP and was a political leader in the district. His son Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy was the last chief minister of undivided AP. His brother Nallari Kishore Kumar Reddy was the shadow CM for AP for 2 years.
After the Samaikhyandra Party was founded by Kiran Kumar and was wiped out in the elections, Naidu lured Kishore into the part and also gave him a plum corporation chairperson post hoping that his brother Kiran Kumar Reddy follows the same route. However, it didn’t happen. Despite Naidu’s hope, more trouble was created by Kishore in the Chittoor district.
After Kishore’s entry, many TDP leaders in the Punganuru region have resigned or become inactive. Later, Kishore Kumar Reddy also became inactive and has not been seen on any party forum. As a result, it has turned out to be a double whammy for Chandrababu. Loyal TDP leaders are nowhere to be seen in the Punganuru now and this is such a strong base for TDP over the years and Naidu might have ruined it for the sake of the presence of one leader at the party.
