TDP Chief and ex-Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu has appeared in front of the media today, on Zoom, and has discussed several aspects that are going on in the state, and has heavily criticised the YSRCP government for their inhumane behavior towards the people of the country.
Previously, Naidu had challenged the government to resign their posts and get ready for re-elections, which would be conducted on the basis of the people’s choice of capital. However, the government refused to respond to any of these challenges by Naidu.
Now, Chandrababu has opened an online web portal, with the help of which one can vote for their choice of Capital. Naidu requested everyone to log onto the website and to vote for their choice of Capital, which would help the government understand what the people want. (apwithamaravati.com)
Furthermore, Naidu said that the farmers of Amaravati have been protesting for over 250 days now, and more than 8- of them gave their lives for the cause. Yet, the government is still blind to the pain of the farmers of Amaravati. He also said that the government had accused these farmers of caste-ism, just for the sake of making sure that the 3 capital bill would get approved.
Naidu also demanded that the government should give Rs. 10,000 as compensation to all those who have lost their livelihoods in the recent floods. He gave the example of Hud Hud and Titli, and said that the government should follow a similar pattern, so that everyone has a future to look forward to.
