Police have submitted a remand report to the court in connection with the attack on MP Vijayasaireddy’s car in Ramatirtha.
According to the report, TDP leaders Chandrababu, Achennaidu, Kala Venkatrao, and 12 others were named as accused.
The court has already remanded seven people in the case. Police said in the FIR that Chandrababu was the main reason for the stone attack.
A case has been registered against Chandrababu as A1, Achennaidu as A2, and Kala Venkatrao as A3 at the Nellimarla police station.
On that day, the devotees were furious with Vijay Sai Reddy for going up the Ramatirtha hill with party flags.
The people at the foot of the hill chanted slogans against him as he was coming down the hill.
Some protesters threw sandals and water packets as Vijay Sai Reddy walked towards his car. The front mirror of the vehicle was slightly damaged.
