After watching Gautamiputra Satakarni, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has shot a volley of questions to director Krish about the ancient culture of Amaravti that he found during the research for Satakarni.
Thanks to Satakarni’s connection to Amaravati. Satakarni had ruled Satavahana kingdom with Amaravathi as capital and co-incidentally present day, the successor state of Andhra Pradesh is in the early stage of building a new capital city Amaravati from the scratch.
Curious AP CM have posed the questions to Krish to know more about history. Chandrababu, who wanted to blend modernity with traditional root aesthetics for Amaravati, requested Krish to give him the research copy of the film’s script to which Krish readily agreed.
Also, Krish shared the Maharashtra gazette incorporated with lot of Satavahana information to Chandrababu for which AP CM shocked and thanked Krish.
Krish said Naidu got emotional with Krish’s last voice over at the end of the film. Chandrababu also liked each and every dialogue of the film and lyrics of the songs.
Krish said Naidu has great respect for films. “I found our CM Naidu garu as first, best and ideal movie patron when he was shooting me with many questions on Satakarni. He was excited watching Gautamiputra Satakarni. He went impulsive asking me about our writer and lyricist because he enjoyed each dialogue and loved every line in the song. His respect for films is unparalleled.”
Krish thanked CM Chandrababu and AP ministers for supporting historical epic GPSK.
