Chandrababu’s Masterplan: ‘Annadata Sukhibhava’

Chandrababu Naidu has chalked out a masterplan to win the votes of farming community. As part of the strategy, Naidu will soon be announcing ‘Annadata Sukhibhava Yojana’ scheme, a populist scheme of money transfer to farmers. Under ‘Annadata Sukhibhava’, Rs 2500 per acre will be disbursed to all the farmers. As per government’s assessment, over 2 crore acres of farming land has been identified and hence Rs 2500 per acre i.e over Rs 5000 Crore would burden on the public exchequer. AP state government is currently working on how to distribute the said amount among the farmers (owners of farm land i.e land owners) and tenant farmers (Koulu Rythulu).

The immediate task of the state government is to identify the tenant farmers. The govt is planning to propose to distribute Rs 10,000 subsidy equally between the land owner farmer and tenant farmer i.e Rs 5000 each per annum. The scheme is expected to be launched from coming Kharif season.

CM Chandrababu Naidu has briefly shared the details of the scheme with party leaders in teleconference. As part of the scheme, around 96 lakh farmers (both land owners and tenant farmers) would be benefitted. Meanwhile, Naidu has also shared his plan to double to pension of unemployed youth i.e to increase from existing Rs 1000 to Rs 2000 per month.

Earlier Naidu has announced of doubling the pensions for social communities and also announced financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to Dwcra women under Pasupu-Kumkuma scheme. Ahead of 2019 polls, Naidu is going all out to attract masses
