Chandrayaan-3 To Land Before Estimation Time?

All eyes are on ISRO’s spacecraft Chandrayaan-3 which was sent to have a landing on the moon’s surface. The spacecraft is special from others as it will explore the far side of the Moon. With the successful landing, India will join the elite list of countries with the Lunar landing.

As per the information, it is said that Chandrayaan-3 will land on Moon’s surface before the scheduled time. The landing process will start at 5:44 PM and will land at 6:04 PM. The last 17 minutes of landing are crucial and 19 minutes are important.

Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation S. Somanath was quoted as saying by a few media reports that the lander will start its work at 5:47 PM. The propulsion system was designed in a way that the spacecraft will land even though all the sensors failed. Even though two engines fail, it will have a safe landing.

Vertical landing is very crucial and a safe landing was planned despite the lander tilting 12 degrees. Computers will play a key role after landing and the last 15 minutes will be computer guided.

It is known that Chandrayaan 2 could not have a safe landing as the lander did not get the landing right. ISRO took all the measures to see that such a thing won’t happen.

Russia’s Luna-25 could not have a safe landing and hence the whole world is waiting eagerly to see what Chandrayaan-3 can do. Only Rovers of three nations landed on the Moon namely America, China, and Russia and India will be the fourth nation.

If Chandrayaan-3 lands safely on the surface, then India will become the first nation to land on the far side of the moon. ISRO is confident of doing this and all eyes are on the spacecraft now. Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on a South Africa visit will witness the Chandrayaan-3 launch virtually.

As what Chandrayaan-3 will achieve is historic, a few states decided to show the crucial moments to students, and special arrangements were also made. Join us in wishing the ISRO and scientists all the very best.
