Chaos continues to prevail in Ramatheertham

The disfiguration of the Sri Rama idol of the Ramatheertham temple has created a lot of chaos in Andhra Pradesh, and the fact that so many other temples have been attacked in the state, and the government not making sure that necessary actions are taken against the perpetrators has also become a major topic of discussion.

With the main idol of Ramatheertham temple being vandalised, the public has also reacted strongly to the incident, and the opposition parties are carrying out protests near the temple. The Bharatiya Janata Party has called for the “Chalo Ramatheertham” protest, where the unrest has reached new peaks today.

The POlice department had prevented the movement from taking place, by obstructing the path for several BJP leaders, including President Somu Veerraju. Following this obstruction, there was a lot of tense verbal exchange between both the parties, as a result of which Somu Veerraju had fainted.

Section 30 is going to be implemented in Ramatheertham’s Vizianagaram division, till the end of this month. The security is also being increased around the area, with the Police department making sure that no violence breaks o
