Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to take the oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on June 12. The event is expected to be a grand occasion with numerous celebrities and political figures attending.
Prominent stars like Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth are set to be present at the ceremony. Both actors have already arrived at Gannavaram Airport where Chiranjeevi received a warm welcome. Other notable personalities from the film industry expected to attend include Ram Charan and Mohan Babu.
Allu Arjun, the nephew of Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, has also been invited. Jr NTR, who is Chandrababu Naidu’s nephew, is another celebrity slated to be at the event. Pawan Kalyan, who performed well in the recent elections and is aiming for the Deputy Chief Minister position, is the younger brother of Chiranjeevi. This connects a web of relationships within the industry, as Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are his nephews.
The ceremony will also see attendance from key political allies of Naidu. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are leading the NDA delegation. Additionally, several Chief Ministers from across India, including Bihar’s Nitish Kumar, Rajasthan’s Bhajan Lal Sharma, Uttarakhand’s Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Maharashtra’s Eknath Shinde, are expected to be there. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is also likely to attend.
The TDP’s recent success in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections has been notable. The party managed to secure a significant victory, reducing the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) led by Jagan Mohan Reddy to only 11 seats in the Assembly.
This victory has paved the way for Naidu’s return to power and set the stage for the upcoming ceremony. Chandrababu Naidu’s swearing-in is not just a political event but a blend of politics and entertainment, highlighting the strong ties between the Telugu film industry and state politics. The ceremony is anticipated to be a memorable event with a star-studded lineup and significant political presence..
