Rumors rife that a Tollywood delegation, spearheaded by megastar Chiranjeevi will be meeting with the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy by the end of this month.
The delegation will be discussing the prevailing situation in the theatrical industry, pertaining to the restrictions on ticket pricing.
The main agenda of the Tollywood delegation will be to request Jagan to permit flexible pricing at cinema halls across Andhra Pradesh. If Jagan does oblige, it could favour a score of Telugu biggies which are gearing up for theatrical release in the next few days.
It is heard that even Jagan is keen on settling the ticket pricing issue which would revive the theatrical industry.
This is the first time Jagan took notice of the ticket pricing issue after the Andhra Pradesh government passed a GO restricting ticket prices back in April this year.
