Megastar Chiranjeevi is presently busy with Acharya. He plans to wrap up this Koratala Siva directorial by the end of August. Once Acharya is wrapped up, Chiranjeevi will start working on the Telugu remake of Lucifer. Mohan Raja is directing Lucifer remake and the pre-production works are being carried out at a brisk pace now. Interestingly, Chiranjeevi is also planning to shoot for Bobby’s project simultaneously. Bobby has locked the script already and he is raring to direct megastar in the film. Here is an interesting update on Chiranjeevi – Bobby project, which is set to leave Chiru’s fans excited.
Apparently, Chiranjeevi – Bobby project is the Telugu remake of Malayalam super hit Driving License. Bobby hinted about the same in his recent interaction with a media portal. “My film with Chiranjeevi is based on the feud between a top hero and his ardent fan,” he said. Well, this is the main plot of Driving License. The Malayalam film revolves around the unforeseen clash between a top actor and his ardent fan who works in the Road Transport Authority. The interesting clash between these two principal characters forms the main narrative of the film. Going by Bobby’s comment, his next project with Chiranjeevi will be a remake of Driving License.
It appears to be that Mythri Movie Makers had acquired the remake rights of Driving License and they are orchestrating the project with Chiranjeevi and Bobby now. Initially, it was heard that either Venkatesh or Ravi Teja would be working on the project but that isn’t to be. Chiranjeevi seems to have liked the story and subsequently taken up the project. Bobby is said to have locked the script already and the regular shoot might be commencing as early as this October, depending on the Covid situation at that point in time. Chiranjeevi will be shooting for Lucifer remake and Driving License remake simultaneously. He has already allotted dates for both these projects and will be taking them onto the floors in the next couple of months. Once he is done with these two projects, Chiranjeevi will start working on Vedhalam remake, which will be helmed by Meher Ramesh.
