Tollywood acre hero Mega Star Chiranjeevi had always shown his big heart for helping others and with his philanthropic works. When the lockdown was imposed, he started a charity trust to lend a helping hand to the movie workers.
Now, Megastar has come forward to counter the oxygen crisis in the two Telugu States by setting up oxygen banks. Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan has also joined hands in this regard.
The Oxygen Banks will come across districts in both states. The District Presidents of Fans Associations will be given the responsibility of taking care of the operations of the banks.
Instead of middlemen, the family members of Covid patients, who are in dire need of oxygen, can visit the bank and take the oxygen cylinders.
Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust took to Twitter to make a formal announcement of the noble initiative of Mega Star to start the oxygen bank. These oxygen banks will start operation in not less than one week.
