Item Song and Megastar’s Films go hand in hand as most of his modern movies often had this so called dance number that features an upcoming or star heroine. Whether it is Simran in Annayya, Anushka in Stalin or Lakshmi Rai in Khaidi No 150, Chiranjeevi always stunned in those songs with his dances and grace. He has done once again the very same thing, says dusky siren Regina Cassandra now.
The talented hottie whose glamorous works in the recent times haven’t fetched her any special attention is actually doing this item number in ‘Acharya’, which she refuses to call it as item, but terms it as ‘Celebration song’. “We have shot for six nights at a special erected set in Hyderabad. Matching steps with Chiru sir isn’t easy, but when he himself appreciated that I’m so expressive and did the dance well, I’m on cloud nine” says Regina, talking about the song.
Sharing her thoughts on doing such special songs in the future, she adds, “I’m done with doing such special numbers. This is my first song and the last too. This being a Megastar’s song, I couldn’t say no to it”. Floored by the simplicity of Chiranjeevi, Regina added that it felt very nice to be on the sets where the Megastar never gets into caravan but will on the sets all the time, meeting different people.
