Megastar Chiranjeevi finally announced his next film #Mega151 officially which has been titled “Sye Raa”. The movie will start rolling next month and Nayanthara has been asked to play the female lead in the movie. The movie is based on the life and times of freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy and all the major aspects of his life are said to have been taken and will be discussed on screen.
With the makers announcing principle cast, it had only Nayanthara on board. But the major discussion is about Uyyalawada’s three wives, Siddamma, Peramma, and Obulamma. Whose role among them Nayantara is playing? and what about the other two wives? Had the makers chopped off the episodes of other wives of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy or are they are busy finalizing the other two female leads in the movie is something we have to see.
Uyyalavada’s first wife was Siddamma and she had a son named Dora Subbaiah. The second wife named Peramma had one daughter and the third wife Obulamma was blessed with two sons. We have to wait and see if the movie unit clarifies about indulging Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy having three wives in the film sticking to the real history or will they distort parts to take cinematic liberties.
Currently, there is a rumor coming up in film circles that Nayantara will play the elder wife of Uyyalawada while Anushka will be seen as his second wife and a Bollywood beauty will essay third wife role. All these three heroines are likely to have a song each Sye Raa. As polygamy was predominant during that times, Megastar Chiru is said to be not distorting the history for anyone’s sake.
