CM Jagan penned a letter to the CMs of all the states after global vaccine tender yields no response

Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan has penned a letter to the CMs of all the states. The CM mentioned in the latter that, although 9 states, including AP, have called for global tenders for the vaccine, not a single bid has been received. He urged the CMs of all the states to bring this to the notice of the Union govt, the difficulties in the availability of vaccines in the states.

In a letter to Kerala CM Vijayan, Jagan clarified that despite global tenders being called for the vaccine, not a single tender has been filed. The letter mentioned that the approval of global tenders was with the Center. Jagan said in the letter that increasing the availability of the covid vaccine was an urgent need of the country.
