KCR was clearly upset when he was giving his speech in the latest assembly sessions. He said that while the country hoped that BJP government will be better than the Congress Party, KCR opines that BJP has become the father of Congress. Since the time when GST started to be implemented, not even 10,000 crores have been given to the Telangana State, said KCR.
This statement came in the wake of BJP leaders claiming that the Modi Government has given huge funds for the State. KCR said that all those claims are false and that the States received better funds when Congress was there. The only reason that BJP came to power is because the country was tired of Congress Party and not because the citizens felt that BJP would change their lives, said KCR with sarcasm.
He added that it is the duty of Central Government by default to distribute funds to all the States in the country and this must not be used to manipulate people that BJP is doing a favour. Finance Minister of Telangana, Harish Rao had said that even though there were no funds from the Central government, TRS has given 10,000 crores for the development of Hyderabad.
