Despite the central and the state governments giving permissions to reopen the theatres with 50% occupancy, the exhibitors across the Telugu states didn’t reopen the theatres immediately. As there are no big releases till date, the multiplexes in urban areas have screened old films or English films with limited shows.
Sai Tej’s ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ is the first big release from Tollywood after lockdown. It is arriving on 25th December but the issues amongst the theatre owners, exhibitors and others created uncertainty over the release. But sources say that all those issues are solved and the coast is clear for Sai Tej’s film to arrive as planned. ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ will have a wide release and Dil Raju along with UV Creations are distributing it in Telugu states.
Written and directed by Subbu, this romantic comedy has Nabha Natesh as the romantic interest of Sai Tej. Along with this youthful entertainer, a couple of old films that had OTT releases will also be screened in theatres as per reports.
