TPCC Working President and former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav has been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus. He is being treated on a ventilator at the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad.
As per reports, Anjan took part in the recent Congress party’s Dalit and tribal dandora deeksha at Moodu Chintalapalli. He later developed symptoms of cold and fever. With this, he underwent the Covid-19 test and was found positive for the deadly virus. Initially, he underwent treatment at his residence. But later admitted to Apollo hospital after he complained of severe difficulty in breathing.
It is learned that Anjan Kumar is currently in critical condition. Anil, son of Anjan, said his father’s health would recover soon.
Meanwhile, Telangana has reported 338 positive cases and one death due to Covid in the past 24 hours. So far, 6,58,054 positive cases have been reported in the state, while 3,873 people have died with the infection, according to the state medical health department.
