And the unwanted happened. Corona virus has reached India and the first case has been reported in Kerala. A student who was studying in Wuhan University and travelled to India, has tested positive for the virus.
The Union ministry of health and family welfare has officially confirmed it. The student is being treated at a hospital in an isolation ward and as per the ministry, the condition of the student is stable. A team of doctors are closely monitoring the condition of the student.
With the first case being reported, the Union health ministry got alerted and has deployed thermal screening sensors and few more such equipment at all the airports. Medical and para-medical staff are placed at the airports to check the international passengers.
There are also hundreds of Indian students in Wuhan university, who are trying to reach India. The embassy of India in China is doing all the arrangement for students to fly back to the country.
