Count VVPAT Slips Along With Votes in Gajwel: Vanteru

Congress and Praja Kutami’s candidate Vanteru Pratap Reddy has complained to the Telangana’s Chief Electoral Officer Dr Rajat Kumar. Vanteru asked the CEC to permit to count both the votes in EVMs as well as the VVPAT slips. He asked that Gajwel results should be announced only after counting both the VVPAT slips and the votes polled in the EVMs.

He said if the EC doesn’t respond to his complaint and act accordingly, Vanteru said he would move the High Court. Vanteru alleged that high-level influence was used in Gajwel and also alleged that a conspiracy to defeat him. He alleged that such conspiracies had defeated him in the last election.

However, exuding confidence, Vanteru said this time it is not possible to defeat him. He said he will win with a huge majority in Gajwel notwithstanding any conspiracies. He claimed that KCR would not even get deposit in Gajwel. He alleged KCR of resorting to malpractices to win in Gajwel by hook or crook.
