Till now, there has been no vaccine prepared as a cure for the COVID-19 virus. Many scientists are conducting researches and trails regarding its development and are finding new ways to control this deadly virus. One of them is ‘plasma therapy’.
Under this plasma therapy, the people who are infected with the COVID-19 will be treated with the collected plasma samples from the people who are recovered from the Novel Corona Virus infection.
This treatment is proved to be very efficient and many states in India have been following this method to cure the COVID-19 patients and are experiencing good results too. Now, the Telangana government which has a good recovery percentage when compared to other states has decided to adopt this plasma therapy in their state.
The people whose condition is worsened by the virus infection will be treated with this plasma therapy and the center has also given permission for its implementation. Telangana’s health minister Eetela Rajender said that they are planning for the successful implementation of the plasma therapy and even added that daily less than 20 cases are being registered in the state which is a very good sign.
