Covid-19: Union minister Kishan Reddy criticises CM KCR

Union Home Minister Kishan Reddy has raised serious concerns over the Corona pandemic in Telangana. The minister said, “Corona is shooting up, especially in Hyderabad, ”. Hyderabad being one of the major metropolitan cities in the country is now in danger zone and expressed uncertainty about when it would diminish. Kishan Reddy criticized the C.M KCR and the ruling TRS party for it’s ineffective action.

The Center has favoured Telangana in battling coronavirus and the center has also expressed it’s concern about the beds of corona patients in Telangana that they are very few. Kishan Reddy has reminded that the High Court has also given the nod to dismantle the old Secretariat in Telangana and turn it into a covid- 19 hospital. He suggested to speed up the testing and told that engineering colleges should be used as isolation centers as well.

For the second consecutive day in Telangana, 1800 corona cases have been registered. The health bulletin displays that 1850 coronavirus cases were diagnosed in Telangana today. A total of 1572 Covid 19 cases were diagnosed within the GHMC. In the last 24 hours in Telangana, 6427 corona tests were conducted. Out Of them, 4577 were negative, 1850 Positive cases were reported and 1342 patients got discharged. 5 people were dead due to covid-19. Rangareddy district reported 95 cases, which is the highest number after the GHMC in Telangana.
