When the entire nation is eagerly waiting for the potential vaccine to cure the novel Coronavirus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired an all-party meeting today. Given the prevailing situations, the meeting was held virtually.
The meeting was held to discuss pandemic situations in the country. Along with the Union Ministers, leaders of various political parties were also present during the all-party meeting.
Addressing the meeting, the Prime Minister said, the Scientists are not leaving any stone unturned to manufacture a potential vaccine. We are waiting for the experts to give their green signal for the vaccination process.
Talking about vaccine development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi opined that the vaccine would be made ready in a few weeks.
Narendra Modi is believed to have asked the leaders of the remaining parties to come up with suggestions over the vaccine development and distributing it to the public. He asked them to give suggestions in writing.
As said earlier, Narendra Modi batted to give topmost priority to the healthcare workers and frontline workers in vaccine distribution, once the vaccine is rolled out.
Talking about the price of the vaccines, Narendra Modi said the Centre Government is holding talks with the State governments. Very soon, the prices will be announced.
The meeting started at around 10:30 am on Friday. The floor leaders of all the parties were invited to the all-party meeting.
