Alia Bhatt is currently the top actress in Bollywood right now. She is currently working on a couple of big projects. Along with it, she acted in an interesting OTT film too named ‘Darlings’. his intriguing drama is going to release directly on Netflix and the trailer came out recently.
Produced by Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt and Gaurav Verma, the teaser didn’t reveal anything but raised a lot of curiosity on the project. But the trailer gave us a clear idea of how the story is going to be. It is a revenge drama filled with dark comedy. Alia Bhatt will be seen as the wife who gets abused by his husband a lot. She decides that it is time for revenge and ties her husband up and tortures him. To erase any doubt, she filed a missing complaint in the police station too.
The trailer is interesting, dramatic, fun in parts and quite intense at times too. Alia Bhatt did a wonderful job as anyone can see while Vijay Varma too did complete justice. Shefali Shah is hilarious as Alia’s aid in the film. Roshan Mathew is also playing a key role in this movie.
Jasmeet K Reen is the director and writer of this project. It is one of the most interesting projects on Netflix at the moment and people are eager to know more about this flick. It is releasing on 5th August and Alia is the main USP of this film. She will also be seen in ‘Brahmastra’ in September and a couple of other big projects.
