The makers of Nishabdham, a suspense thriller starring Anushka in the lead role have been in talks with leading OTT platforms for a long time now. The latest developments suggest that the producer have stuck a deal with an OTT giant for the direct to digital release of the film.
Reportedly, Nishabdham will be out on a leading OTT platform on October 2nd. There is no affirmative update regarding the platform but it is said that Amazon Prime was always in pole position to bag the rights of the film.
The makers of Nishabdham will sign the agreement with the OTT platform tomorrow, Wednesday. An official announcement regarding the film’s OTT release will be made soon after.
Nishabdham will be the second mainstream Telugu film to release on OTT after Nani’s ‘V’.
Nishabdham was directed by Hemant Madhukar. People Media Factory and Kona Film Corporation jointly produced the film. Shalini Pandey, Madhavan, and Anjali play other important roles in the suspense thriller.
