‘Dead Pixels’ Trailer: A Story Of Addicted Gamers & Their Lives!

Niharika Konidela has been trying to make her mark in the film industry for a long time now. She arrived with a few web series before trying her luck as a heroine with movies like ‘Oka Manasu’, ‘Suryakantham’ and others. All her ventures turned out to be unsuccessful but she has not lost hope. She is still giving it her best shot at success as an actress.

She is arriving with a web series titled ‘Dead Pixels’. It will be streamed on Disney + Hotstar from 19th May. The trailer has been released and the series deals with the lives of four people who are addicted to a video game. It shows how it affects their personal lives. Niharika is shown as an IT worker who is unable to decide between the two boys. She goes bold and even mouths dialogues like, “I want Roshan in bed & Bhargav in the head.” This stunned a few people but the trailer evokes mixed reactions from the public.

There are complaints that the trailer is too urban and it is not relatable to everyone. Also, the trailer reveals most of the story and we need to see if the series actually offers more substance or not. The performances too leave a lot to be desired. Though some of the fresh talents did well, it is Niharika who looks expressionless and stale most of the time. Let us wait till the series to get a better picture.

The series will feature Niharika, Viva Harsha, Akshay, Sai Ronak, and Bhavana playing the main roles while Rajiv Kanakala and others play the supporting cast. BBC Studios India and Tamada Media have jointly produced it while Siddhartha Sadasivuni is the music composer. Aditya Mandala directed this series while Akshay Pulla is the writer.
