Akshay Kumar’s track ‘ Teri mitti’ from Kesari turned to be very well known for evoking patriotism when it was released. The emotional melody is a tribute to one’s homeland and has devoted significant heart wrenching lines. Of late in April, the actor shared his heart felt gratitude to frontline workers during lockdown by posting a reprised version of this song.
Now once again the song came to spotlight when a Delhi cop named Rajat Rathor played it on his guitar and shared the video via twitter. He also tagged Akshay Kumar and wrote that he is absolutely keyed up for his reply.
He wrote on twitter, ”Teri mitti -it’s not just a song for me it’s a feeling. My first viral video. After this I got so much appreciation. But I am still waiting for @akshaykumar sir’s response #copthatsings #terimitti #AkshayKumar #rajatrathor #delhipolice”.
Within no time the actor replied with a video and was all praises for the cop’s singing ability. He got impressed and appreciated Rajat for crooning so marvellously, which stimulated him to shed tears from his eyes. “Lots of good wishes and respect for the work you are doing. Keep doing good and keep up your talent”, he shared. Akshay again tweeted by writing, “Teri Mitti is a song which always gives me goosebumps, no matter how many times I hear it, this time was no different. Thank you Rajat ji for sharing”.
