Today, Priyanka Chopra highlighted the air pollution in Delhi with a post on her social media. The actress posted a photo of her wearing a mask and expressing the difficulty of her stay in Delhi. Priyanka, who arrived in Delhi for the shooting of her upcoming flick, The White Tiger, posted that “Shoot days for #thewhitetiger. It’s so hard to shoot here right now that I can’t even imagine what it must be like to live here under these conditions. We r blessed with air purifiers and masks. Pray for the homeless. Be safe everyone. #airpollution #delhipollution #weneedsolutions #righttobreathe (sic).”
But netizens went outraged with her post. One user wrote “Nice to see Americans showing concern on Indians’ Another wrote, “What happened to your Asthma when you smoked cigarettes with your mother?”. Many trolls and nasty memes started pouring in when actress asked everyone to be safe in Delhi. Calling her double-faced, Indians couldn’t take her point on air pollution.
Talking about, The White Tiger, it is a Netflix film directed by Ramin Bahrani. Priyanka will be first time seen opposite Rajkummar Rao and the film is about the journey of a self-made man from being a tea-shop worker in a village to a successful entrepreneur in a big city.
