Has Vijaya Sai Reddy’s grip on Vizag loosened? Now that he has been made incharge of the party’s central affairs and has been asked to come to Tadepalli to coordinate the party works, will it in any way affect his power and position in Vizag? Indications are that despite shifting to Tadepalli, Vijaya Sai still continues to call the shots in Vizag.
Highly placed sources say that Vijaya Sai’s interest in Vizag has not diminished one bit. He continues to maintain contact with the leaders. Recently, he toured in Vizag city and met several supporters. All this only shows that Vijaya Sai still has interests in Vizag city and its surroundings.
There have been complaints galore that Vijaya Sai was interfering too much and that he was getting involved in questionable land deals in the city. Several YSRCP leaders have taken up the issue with YS Jagan. So YS Jagan made him incharge of the party state affairs along with Sajjala and asked him to move to Tadepalli. Of late, he is being regularly seen in Tadepalli.
However, did not mean that his interest in Vizag affairs has come down. He is said to be continuing his contacts in the region. He is said to be keeping a tab on the affairs of the party in north Andhra. Vijaya Sai Reddy is now not an incharge of the affairs of the party in North Andhra region. Despite that his hold on the region has not come down one bit. Sources say that Vijaya Sai is focusing on contesting for Vizag Lok Sabha seat.
