Born in Srikakulam, Karanam Malliswari made all the Indian proud by being the first Indian woman to win a medal in Olympics. That happened in the year 2000 and since then she has been an inspiration to thousands of Indian woman who dream to score big in sports.
Now a biopic is being planned on her. It has become common practice to make movies on famous Indian personalities and that too on sports persons.
According to the latest update young director Sanjana Reddy is planning to make a biopic on Karanam Malliswari. This movie will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. It will announced on International Women’s Day.
This biopic which will start soon will jointly produced by Kona Venkat and MVV Satyanarayana. A famous Bollywood production house will also join hands with them.
