NTR’s highly anticipated film “Devara”, directed by Koratala Siva, faces a release date delay due to unforeseen circumstances. Initially slated for an April 5th release, the production schedule has been disrupted due to an injury sustained by actor Saif Ali Khan, who plays the antagonist.
Koratala Siva, known for his grand-scale productions, meticulously crafted the script for “Devara,” promising “goosebumps-inducing” scenes. He confidently announced an April 5th release date on multiple occasions, reflecting his commitment to the timeline.
During filming, Saif Ali Khan sustained a hand injury requiring surgery and a month-long recovery. This development threw the scheduled production off track, making the April 5th release date untenable.
Koratala Siva has chosen not to announce a revised release date at this time. He acknowledges the negative impact of announcing and then missing a deadline. Prioritizing a smooth production completion, he intends to finalize a release date only after gaining a clear picture of the finished product.
Janhvi Kapoor co-stars as the female lead, while Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and others play key roles. Anirudh Ravichander composes the music, and Rathnavelu handles cinematography.
